Kavilash Chawla Professional Biography

As Managing Director of Nur Global Strategies, Kavilash is focused on providing clients with the strategic advice necessary to drive growth, create stakeholder value, and mitigate risk. As a leading advisor and successful entrepreneur, Kavilash previously founded and managed a boutique investment strategy advisory firm, and is currently an investment partner in a U.S. based specialty food company and a U.K. based investment management firm. As an expert and global leader in the Islamic finance industry, Kavilash also regularly authors thought pieces for the industry and global press. Kavilash previous experience includes serving as a Senior Consultant/Associate Partner at a leading management consulting firm, and as an equity capital markets specialist in the investment banking industry.

Kavilash holds a MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Masters in International Affairs from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University. Kavilash earned his BA from Drake University with a triple major in economics, history, and political science.
